
Last Days to Participate: proEXPLO 2026 Invites Professionals and Students to Submit Technical and Research Papers
Selected papers will be presented during the event, which will take place from May 4 to 6, 2026, at the Jockey Exhibition Center.
Lima, November 24, 2025.- The Organizing Committee of Latin America's most important mining exploration event announced that abstracts of technical papers to be presented at the 15th International Congress of Prospectors and Explorers (proEXPLO 2026) will be accepted until December 15, 2025.
The call for papers is aimed at specialists interested in sharing contributions, innovations, and advances in topics related to discoveries, technology, geoscience, the market, the environment, inclusion, and education. Applicants can submit their abstracts using the following form: https://bit.ly/3Kn1ynZ. It should be noted that technical works of a commercial or promotional nature related to products, services, or companies will not be considered.
The organization also noted that the call for entries for the Third International Student Competition will remain open for the same period.
This initiative aims to foster young talent and promote geoscientific research as a driver for sustainable development in the mining sector. The competition is open to undergraduate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students from academic institutions around the world, as well as geologists and geological engineers who have defended their theses in 2025.

The qualifying jury is composed of leading specialists in the sector, who will evaluate the papers; their decision will be announced on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Selected papers will be presented during the event, which will take place from May 4 to 6, 2026, at the Jockey Exhibition Center, under the theme “Promoting discovery for a sustainable future.”
