Under the slogan “Promoting Discovery for a Sustainable Future,” this edition highlights the role of mining exploration in the energy transition.

Lima, December 15, 2025.- The 15th International Congress of Prospectors and Explorers (proEXPLO 2026), the most important mining exploration event in Latin America, is expected to bring together more than 3,000 attendees from approximately 30 countries, according to Adán Pino, President of the event’s Organizing Committee.

The event will bring together professionals, researchers, consultants, students, and representatives from mining companies, who will share the results of their studies, projects, and experiences related to mineral exploration.

The academic program for this edition will be structured around eight thematic areas, designed to address the main challenges, trends, and technological advances currently faced by the industry worldwide.
