REGULATIONS FOR REGISTRATION

EVENT

  • 12th International Congress of Prospectors and Explorers - proEXPLO 2021

VENUE AND DATE

  • The event will take place via IIMP's virtual platform, from March 22nd to 26th, 2021.

PARTICIPANTS

  • To participate, anyone interested must visit the website https://www.proexplo.com.pe/ for online registration or contact one of our executives and request a registration link.

  • Participants must provide the information requested on the registration platform, otherwise they will not be able to continue with the registration process.

  • Participants must make full payment for their registration and/or service before March 21, 2021, otherwise they will not be able to access the 12th International Congress of Prospectors and Explorers - proEXPLO 2021.

  • All IIMP Associates interested in registering for the Congress, at their preferential rate, must be up to date with their annual fee for the current year. Valid only for individuals (Active IIMP Associate).

  • Changing participants is allowed once with no additional cost. From the second change, a penalty of 20% of the registration fee will be charged. In both cases, the change process will be made only once, prior coordination and authorization of IIMP's Registration Manager

  • Once access has been granted, no changes can be applied to participants.

  • The "Student" rate applies to undergraduate university students. They must attach proof from the university accrediting them as such. Limited availability

  • The "Teacher" rate applies to full-time teachers or teachers with a full schedule (not valid for post-graduate teachers). Teachers must attach a letter from the university where they teach.

ACCESS DATA

  • This Virtual Congress can be accessed by using a Username and Password. Once received, please activate your account in the link provided.

  • We recommend the personal and non-transferable use of the data provided in order to avoid inconveniences.

WITHDRAWAL

  • Any withdrawal received from the participant will have a penalty of 10% of the registration fee until February 28, 2021.1

  • If the withdrawal occurs after March 1, 2021, there will be no refund. Being able to make only one change to the holder's name.

INVOICING

  • Adherent IIMP Associates interested in participating have up to 30 calendar days of credit to pay for their registrations, once the invoice is received; note that the invoice must be paid for the participant to have access to the event. Participants must provide all the necessary documents to issue the respective invoice. For example, and merely as an example, the Purchase Order, HES, etc, if applicable.

  • Any person and/or company other than an IIMP Associate must pay the registration fee within 48 hours, otherwise the registration will be released or invalidated. To validate this payment, you must send your proof of payment or voucher to inscripciones@iimp.org.pe.

  • It is MANDATORY to specify the Company Name in case of requiring an invoice.

  • For national companies, according to SUNAT's regulations, the participant must pay 12% of the total amount contracted (Deduction) to the account of the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers at Banco de la Nación (Account for Deductions in Soles No. 00000372668). In case of paying the invoice in full, IIMP will make the automatic deduction of the invoice. This provision applies to invoices with an amount greater than S/700.00

  • Once the type of receipt has been entered on the registration form, no changes to the document in question will be allowed.

PAYMENT METHODS

1.- Account deposit (prior invoice)

Payment can be made by deposit to the IIMP bank accounts detailed in the following section, for which the participant must request an invoice beforehand. The order will be confirmed in writing via email to inscripciones@iimp.org.pe indicating the payment conditions.

2.- Bank Transfer

  • The amount deposited into the institution's accounts is considered, but not the bank or transfer charges. Likewise, the expenses incurred by transfers from the issuing bank abroad will be assumed by the participant and/or company

  • If the registration is made by bank transfer, the participant must send a copy of the deposit or transfer to the email: inscripciones@iimp.org.pe, indicating the number and name of the participant and/or company. If the registration is done during the event, you must present the original voucher to validate your registration.

  • When making the deposit to the IIMP's account, please provide the CODE with one of the following data: RUC, Company Name, Invoice or Receipt Number and/or DNI of the participant in order to identify the deposit.

3.- Credit card payment

IIMP'S RESPONSIBILITIES

Act of God or Force Majeure

  • IIMP will not be liable for non-compliance in case of Act of God or force majeure, regulated by Article 1315 of the Peruvian Civil Code. For these purposes, an Act of God or force majeure is understood to be a non-attributable cause consisting in an extraordinary, unforeseeable and unavoidable event that impedes the execution of obligations regarding the organization and development of the 12th International Congress of Prospectors and Explorers - proEXPLO 2021, determining its partial, late or defective compliance.

  • These circumstances include fires, seism, earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, avalanches, pandemics, floods, storms, torrential rains, storms, explosions, armed conflicts or external/internal wars, civil unrest, blockades, acts of terrorism and sabotage, unmanageable delays in transport, strikes, and any other similar or different cause, noting that this list is merely illustrative and non-restrictive, and it is therefore understood that all circumstances out of reasonable control of IIMP and that could not have been foreseen or that, having been foreseen, could not be prevented, and for the loss or damages caused to equipment, tools and material, are herein included.

  • If due to an Act of God or force majeure the 12th International Congress of Prospectors and Explorers proEXPLO 2021 is cancelled, IIMP will not refund to the Exhibitor the amounts paid and established under the Assignment Agreement in use.

Postponement

  • IIMP reserves the right to unilaterally modify the event's dates or venue, in which case the participant will not be entitled to the payment of any type of compensation for that concept.
